New Website for Kingdom’s MSMEs

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation has launched a new website – KhmerSME – designed to help micro, small and medium enterprises, MSMEs, seek information related to starting up a business in the kingdom.

The launch was presided over by Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation, Cham Prasidh. Representatives of foreign embassies, relevant ministries, international organisations and the private sector also attended.

“KhmerSME” is a digital platform established for MSMEs to seek such information as laws, regulations, business networks, access to finance, training and the “how-to start a business” on a single platform. Companies and enterprises can use the portal to strengthen their capacity and expand their businesses to provide goods and services more competitively.

The website can be found at www.khmersme.gov.kh
